PLASCAGE

Plascage blind nuts are ideal if a flexible fastening system is required. The nylon body contains a steel nut and is fitted by hand into a specially shaped hole as shown in the example below. A quarter or eighth turn is all that's required to lock the fastener in place. Plascage nuts are easy to remove and re-position and the resilient nylon body reduces vibration noise. Available with M4 to M8 threads and with bodies to suit a variety of hole shapes, depending on the application. Stud versions and spring steel cage bodies are also available on request.
